Hi there, I am VK from Spartans - The Cricket team. I am here to let you know about our recent cricket match. We played with VEER Club yesterday Sunday, August 12, 2018, and we won easily. Please go through with detailed match summary and highlights.
Pre-match discussion:
We love to discuss our game and team. But this time discussion was pretty serious. As we Won our last match with NJ Club. We were full of confidence. So we were discussing changing the batting order. And try a few new experiments for the next match. As NJ club was all-out whin-in 14 overs we get this a good sign for us. Now we know very much about them and we are ready to win. This time we are so confident but we were not sure about the last match. The Veer Club is a good club with good batsmen. Their batsmen are as good as fuck. And they have already won their last two matches with Star Club. With a huge confident we leave our home to the ground and Sunday, August 12, 2018, 7:00 AM.
Playing 11 Spartans:- Banshal Sharma (C), Santosh Pal, Vinod Soni, Jerry, Gopal Yadav (VC), Shyam B Yadav, Kundan Yadav, Shiv Kumar, G Shyam Yadav, Pradeep Gaur, Vikash Kumar, Sonu (WK) (Extra player).
As we are batting first we have changed our Opening pair and our New opening pair for this match was Banshal Sharma the captain and G Shyam Yadav. We have tried this pair to back our Middle order. Our Opening pair did pretty well and Banshal Sharma smashed a Fifty. The first fifty for our Team. Record. We have smashed 176 Runs in 19.2 Overs.
Spartan's Batsmen did so well and especially our middle order was tremendous. Our MIddle order scored 62 runs in 36 only balls. I would like to address few of our great middle order scorers here.
Santosh Pal, who did not bat well in this match and got out early, he came to the attack and scenario changed. Santosh did his career best and able to get 4 wickets 3.3 over and he spent only 20 runs. Only because of his balling we able to stop Veer club at 122 runs. The Veer Club got all out on 122 runs and 18.3 overs.

Spartan's Batsmen did so well and especially our middle order was tremendous. Our MIddle order scored 62 runs in 36 only balls. I would like to address few of our great middle order scorers here.
- Shyam B Yadav - We all are glad to see playing Shyam B Yadav Like this. He facedonly 10 balls and scored 21 runs with 4 boundaries and 1 huge six. He surprised with his batting style. He usually plays run-o-ball and rotates strikes but yesterday he looked very aggressive.
- Vinod Soni - Vinod Soni played in his style and scored 21 runs only in 15 balls. No wonder he hits 5 fours and only one single in his inning. He is a good batsman and his overall batting average is also good. Vinod is known about his Explosive batting.
- Jerry - Jerry is an all-rounder. He also did well at middle order. Jerry and Vinod do not believe in singles and doubles. Jerry also hit 19 runs out of 11 balls. He hit 4 boundaries in his inning. About his balling, after 2 bad overs in the powerplay, he did come back in death overs. And completed his spell with 2 wickets.
Balling Atack of Spartans; Spartans On fire
After the batting, The time for the baling attack. As we already know about Veer Clubs Batting, They are very good at batting. The can chase 180 to 200 runs easily. In last two matches with star club, they had chased 180 above target in 18th over. So this is our time to test our balling skills and stop them before 180.
The balling starts and all thing going well in first over. But In second over Jerry was struggling to save runs, Jerry took his first wicket but not able to stop runs. Third overs was also going well. But in fourth over Jerry again struggling. At the end of four over Veer Club was on 43 runs with the loss of 1 wicket. At this time we thought that they might be able to chase 176 easily, but the cricket is the game of uncertainty.
Santosh Pal, who did not bat well in this match and got out early, he came to the attack and scenario changed. Santosh did his career best and able to get 4 wickets 3.3 over and he spent only 20 runs. Only because of his balling we able to stop Veer club at 122 runs. The Veer Club got all out on 122 runs and 18.3 overs.Santosh pal may be able to complete his 5 Wicket hall in this match if Veer Club have sent his 11 players to bat. But they not and they walk-over. And Santosh misses his chance but he did his best.
"I also like to address an incident with me (VK) and Santosh Pal. In the mid on any over Santosh asked me to help shine the ball and about the ball swing thing. I shined well the ball, suggested grip and asked him to try an in-swinger, and very first delivery after the incident Santosh got a Wicket. Wow, He bowled him. He pulled his middle stump with a perfect inswinger. We were laughing and enjoying."
Our All bowlers did so well I would like to address Pradeep Gaur here for his great balling, As always Pradeep Gaur get wickets for us at the time we need the most. in 6th or 7th over he took an important wicket and its leads our comeback in the match. Apart From Balling, he did a huge six on the long on. He did good batting in death overs.
About me VK (Vikash Kumar), once again been a most economical baller. I spent only 12 runs in 3 over. I got injured during collecting 15th over's (my third over) last ball.

Banshal Sharma Scored 51 Runs out of 33 Balls, What an explosive inning by the captain. With this score now he his the first man to hit a Half-century in Spartans history. He Also took 2 wickets with his killer bowling. Banshal Sharma always plays well and his batting average is above 35.
