Hi there, I am VK from Spartans - The Cricket team. I am here to let you know about our recent cricket match. We played with NJ Club yesterday Sunday, August 5, 2018, and we won easily. Please go through with detailed match summary and highlights.
Playing 11 Spartans:- Banshal Sharma (C), Santosh Pal, Vinod Soni, Jerry, Gopal Yadav (VC), Shyam B Yadav, Kundan Yadav, Shiv Kumar, G Shyam Yadav, Pradeep Gaur, Vikash Kumar.
As we reached ground we meet with the opponent team. We had a discussion about whether and pitch. They have a good pitch covered with the mat. Good for bounce and pace. They have won the toss and chose to bat first.
Their batsmen came to the crease and Banshal Sharma was on bowling strike. And the very first ball pitched on the good length, get the good bounce and hit the batsmen's chest. He felt pain and start rubbing his chest after removing gloves. Me (was on short leg) and leg Empires runs to the players, fortunately, he was not hurt. We suggested him get the helmets on, he does and the game continued.
Our bowling attack was so good and we had done very well. In result of our good bowling, NJ Club was all out once again in 24.1 overs. We glad to get this.
and confident about our win.
The NJ Club somehow managed to get a respected score 120 in 24.1 overs and before they all-out.

After Good Bowling, we need a good start in batting also and we are very much sure that we can get one because our opening batsmen are in good form and they have done this before. So the second inning starts and Banshal Sharma and Santosh Pal Came to the crease and started batting. Banshal smashed two fours, But we lost his wicket at the score of 8. Our team was in under pressure and NJ Club was very happy, They were enjoying they thought they have already won. But as we have changed the batting order Mr. Vinod Soni came on the 3rd number. Vinod hits four on his second ball and a huge six on the sixth ball he faced and we are out of pressure.
Santosh was Playing sensible cricket there, Both are easily managing singles and doubles. The score was rising slowly. And Vinod got caught out on (22 runs - 36 Balls - 1 Four - 1 Six). With this score, he proved his worth and captain were happy with his performance. Jerry on fourth but he got caught on 1 run 8 balls, his bad luck. Gopal Yadav on number 5. He was confident. Gopal hits a huge sixer above the Long on.
And another side Santosh Pal were playing sensibly as he needs to stay on the crease to make sure the Spartans victory. Gopal Yadav went on 13. Shyam B Yadav was next he was also collecting ball easily.
And at the climax, Santosh Pal finished the match in his style. He hits 2 fours in last over and we won our first match with a boundary. Santosh hit a lightening four on the long on.
Pre-match discussion:
We love to discuss our game and team. But this time discussion was pretty serious. As we lost our last match with NJ Club. We were about to win and suddenly we lost by 6 runs. And the next match was with them again. So we were discussing changing the batting order. And try a few new experiments for the next match. As NJ club was all-out whin-in 14 overs we get this a good sign for us. Now we know very much about them and we are ready to win. This time we are so confident and we know that we will win surely. With a huge confident we leave our home to the ground and Sunday, August 5, 2018, 6:30 AM.
